HICKSVILLE, OH — EnviroKure, a leading innovator in sustainable agriculture, has officially opened its new production facility in Hicksville, Ohio, marking a major milestone for Defiance County and the future of regenerative farming.

The 40,000-square-foot plant, located on a 10-acre site near the Hillandale egg-laying operation, represents a $22 million investment over five years. This flagship facility will produce EnviroKure’s patented liquid biostimulants derived from chicken manure—an eco-friendly solution designed to improve soil health, boost crop productivity, and reduce environmental impact.

“This facility is more than just a production site—it’s a commitment to rural innovation, environmental stewardship, and economic growth,” said Sonia Nofziger-Dasgupta, Director of Business Development at EnviroKure. “We’re proud to call Defiance County home and excited to partner with local farmers and businesses to bring sustainable solutions to market.”

The plant is expected to produce five million gallons of product annually, with expansion plans to scale up to 25–30 million gallons in the coming years.

EnviroKure’s arrival will bring 10 to 30 new jobs, which will strengthen the local agricultural supply chain, and positions Defiance County as a hub for cutting-edge agtech. The company’s patented process transforms poultry waste into high-performance biostimulants, helping farmers reduce chemical inputs while improving yields and soil resilience.
