Position Title: Office Manager

 

Job Objectives: Create and maintain a professional and efficient office environment by managing accounting, data, and information flows in and out of the office. The person will also be highly involved with giving input and supporting other economic development and marketing initiatives.

Essential Job Functions:

 

  • Must be knowledgeable in accounting/QuickBooks 

  • Manages the accounting and reporting activities of the organization  

  • Create internal management reports

  • Coordinates with the organization's external accounting firm for public financial statements and government filings

  • Collaborates with the firm's CPA firm for the preparation of external financial statements and annual audit

  • Assists in scheduling stakeholder appointments, coordinating special events, along with being the first line contact for routine phone calls, visitors, and information requests

  • Assists in organizing economic development and marketing events

  • Assist with outreach to local and national developers

  • Assist with the documentation of incentives and submissions to the State of Ohio 

  • Administration of the site and building database information for the JobsOhio online database and other electronic website listings

    • Gather and input all approved sites and building information

    • Input information on county sites and buildings to the GIS Planning system

    • Input data into social media sites.

 

  • Manages the supplies and services for the office operations

  • Assists with the annual state and local incentive agreements performance review process

  • Business correspondence - prepare letters, invoices, memorandums, e-mails to stakeholders

  • Assists with safekeeping of company records and documents

  • Maintains permanent filing system for the office information. Both hard copy and electronic documents need to be managed in a well-ordered and secure record keeping system

  • As elected by the CIC board, serves as Corporate Secretary for the preparation of minutes and board financial reports

  • And any other duties assigned by the Executive Director

  • Skill and experience with Microsoft software systems and Office

  • Experience with internet-based software.

  • Adaptable to a fast-based business environment

Accepting applications until the position is filled.

  • $38,000 - $45,000 (Salary commensurate with experience) 

  • 3 weeks paid time off

  • Hours: 8:30 - 4:30pm
